Welcome. My name is Annette Ford, author of The Gift of Tears. I’m glad to have you as a visitor to this blog about my new book.

I invite you in The Gift of Tears to look with God’s perspective at the gift of tearful times that He gives you and to see the beauty He is creating. 

I’ll be using this blog to interact with you about The Gift of Tears, expanding on topics in it and blogging on ideas related to my book. I will encourage you to be honest with God about your struggles and pain, to realize He loves you just the way you are and does not condemn you for your weaknesses, and to turn to Him for encouragement and hope.

    Gail Whyte

    There’s a button attached from my heart to my eyes,

    That when tenderly pressed leaks silent cries.

    There’s a cord that is strung from my eyes to my heart,

    Whose connection drains love from every part.

    Liquid love,

    Streaming down

    Stress worn crevasses,

    Wrinkled frown.

    Truth-touched heart

    Respond with release,

    Raining down drops

    Of invisible peace.

    This is the girl that helped me 1st accept Jesus! Black forest Academy(Bfa) Christian boarding school. 14 yrs old spring of1985. She was in her senior yr, I was just starting.
    My Mom got the book for me recently.
    Just had to share!
    The school was run by missionaries from Canada. So thankful for her friendship& book! God bless.
